I just had an lovely stay at Lainston House. The grounds were beautiful and peaceful, perfect for exploring. While my room was stunning and well-equipped, I did notice a few quirks with the tablet ordering system that could use some tweaking. Overall, the attentive staff and great dining made the experience nice, despite minor hiccups.

Dinner at The Avenue was a highlight; the six-course tasting menu was good and exquisitely presented. Breakfast was also tasty with plenty of options, although I encountered a minor issue with room service.

They offer a variety of modern amenities like room service via the tablet and can even lend out bicycles. Some small details, like the tablet's ordering confusion and room temperature management, could be improved, but overall, it was a luxurious experience.

I recently enjoyed a birthday weekend at Lainston House with my boyfriend. The staff were incredibly attentive, leaving a thoughtful birthday card and millionaire shortbread in our junior suite. While the room was really good with its luxurious bath, I did wish for a dressing table area to style my hair. The breakfast was superb, and we had a nice experience with the falconry activity. Overall, it was a fabulous stay, though there was one minor issue with the room setup that could be improved.

My stay at Lainston House was pleasant overall, but there were some hiccups. The beautiful Olive suite was a highlight, especially with the tee-pee set up for my son, making our family time feel special. However, we faced issues with the water in the shower and some delays during dinner service. The picturesque grounds and the quality of food were definite pluses, making my experience fulfilling despite the less-than-perfect moments.
